Lisa Thornton
President
Lisa Broderick Thornton has been the President of the Utah Prader-Willi Syndrome Association for the last 16 years. She has been an attorney for 34 years, working in corporate law, appellate law, and most recently, helping hundreds of families with special needs legal planning, special needs trusts, and with securing guardianship for their children with disabilities. She served for six years as a board member for the national Prader-Willi Syndrome Association, PWSA(USA). She serves on Tanner Dance Board and The Curtis Center board, helping establish college-like life-long programs for adults with intellectual disabilities. Because Lisa has a seventeen year old daughter with Prader-Willi syndrome, she understands the journey of parents who love and serve a child with this syndrome.
